The International Women's Conference 2010 held in Trinity Methodist Church in Kuching involved over 900 women, participants as well as volunteer helpers and organisers.
The evening started with a prayer by Deaconess Eleanor Goh followed by a time of music worship led by Sarah Lasung. Reverend Margareth Falls spoke on breaking the bondage of fear and led us in a time of ministering.

7th August 2010 A FINAL meeting with the working committee
It is simply amazing to see what started as 2 women's vision has become a shared vision for so many ladies and a few men for this upcoming International Women's Conference 2010.
On this morning, t-shirts for the working committee were distributed and we all gathered together to pray for every aspect of the conference. After a time of prayer, Joyce came in to make sure we all understood each and every one of our roles and responsibilities from toilet duty cleanliness, to car park, to ushering, to sound, to powerpoint, to MC, to photography, to food and beverages, to decorations.
It was nice to finally put the faces to the names as many of us were working via email the whole time.
We know that God is going to do something beautiful during this conference. He's going to break us from our bondages and free us to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
Ladies, let us love one another with the love of Christ. Smile at everyone you see throughout the conference and bless each other. God made us for His glory and to bless others. Let us honour God by loving others as Jesus loves us.

25th July 2010 3rd and final rehearsals for our models
29 models committed, worked hard, practiced at home, and showed up for the 3rd and final modelling rehearsal recently.
Let's also give a big loud round of applause to our choreographer, Vicky Fong.
Vicky is a amazing. She can turn a stone to a gem. She has been in charge of training and rehearsing with our 29 models from the very beginning when we planned for a Fashion Show to the end of the rehearsals. Her job isn't done yet as we still have the grand finale...the Fashion Show Gala Dinner to execute and complete.
Vicky has great coaching skills and these skills are effectively and efficiently imparted onto the models. She is really gifted and God has blessed her greatly with this unique gift. During the final practice, Vicky shared with some of the committee members that the church models will shine during the fashion show - they may ovetake the professional models.
This has been a great opportunity for all our amateur models.
We praise God and thank God for Vicky and all the models commitment and joy in serving the Lord in this capacity. We look forward to seeing all their hours of hard work at the Gala Dinner!

About our Choreographer
Vicky Fong is the council member of National Delphic.
In year 2009, she headed the Malaysia Delegation to III DELPHIC Games in Jeju, Korea. She is a freelance journalist, media representative of the International Integrated Resorts and choreographer for Fashion & Textile Shows for World Eco-Fiber & Textile Forum.
Our 2nd Modelling Rehearsal
On Sunday, the 18th of July 2010, the models all got together for the 2nd model rehearsal. Since the last practice, many went home to practice their walk, their poses, their modelling gestures and at this rehearsal, it was a polishing up rehearsal.
As you can see from the chairs, Vicky, the fashion choreographer was trying to put all the models into the scenario of the catwalk night.
Even the children were taking their modelling responsibility very seriously.
We'll see all the models this coming Sunday, the 25th of July 2010 at 2 pm sharp in Good News Church at Green Heights for the final rehearsal before the big night on Saturday, the 14th of August 2010 at Crowne Tower. Thanksgiving Dinner
On Thursday, the 12th of August, Datin Ivy Lau will be host to the welcoming and thanksgiving dinner in preparation for the upcoming IWC 2010.
It will be a time of makan, fellowship and last minute touch ups or things to prepare or finalise for all ladies involved in this event before the IWC 2010 kicks off on Friday, the 13th of August 2010.

Final Modelling Rehearsal
On Sunday, the 25th of July 2010 at Good News Church at Green Heights in Kuching, there will be the final modelling rehearsal running from 2 pm until 5 pm. Please models, be there before 2 pm.
Please note all models must wear black and lady models please have high heels on.

It seems like just yesterday when I heard about an International Women's Conference 2010 to be held in the church I attend every Sunday and it is to be open to all beautiful ladies from every church in Kuching. Now days, weeks and months have passed by with everyone diligently and lovingly working to ensure a memorable event to come. We are edging, every day, closer and closer to this event.

On Monday, the 10th of May, 2010, Joyce Chow, one of the speakers who will be at the International Women's Conference this coming Friday, the 13th of August and Saturday, the 14th of August met with the organisers and committee members over dinner (mee sua) to discuss further details of the conference, fellowship as well as pray for the Team and those attendees.

On Sunday, the 23rd of May 2010 (Sunday) at 3pm many gathered at Rumah Masyarakat, HQ of Society Atelier Sarawak, Jalan Taman Budaya to apply for a modelling gig for our International Women's Conference 2010 Fashion Show Gala Dinner.

The 1st rehearsal for the Fashion Show Gala Dinner was held recently on Sunday, the 27th of June 2010. It was a great time of fun, laughter, learning, posing, MODELLING!
All the models are looking forward to the 2nd rehearsal which will be held on Sunday, the 18th July 2010 starting at 3pm at Good News Church.
We are very thankful to Miss Zoe Lee from Good News Church who will join us as one of the models in the Fashion Show for the Saturday, the 14th of August Gala Dinner. Ms Zoe Lee won the Miss Sarawak in Year 2009.

IWC 2010 Fashion Show Rehearsals
We are very pleased to announce that after the auditions held on Sunday, the 23rd May 2010 at 3pm at Rumah Masyarakat, Kuching Atelier, we have successful captured 8 groups to participate in the catwalk during the IWC 2010 Gala Dinner and Fashion Show extravaganza.
The first rehearsal will be this Sunday, the 27th of June 2010 at Good News Green Heights, Kuching.
3pm – 4pm Groups 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 will rehearse from 3-4 pm and Groups 1, 2 and 8 will rehearse from 4-5 pm.

On Monday, the 10th of May, 2010, Joyce Chow, one of the speakers who will be at the Women's Conference came into Kuching to fellowship and pray for all the committee members.

Our very 1st Committee Meeting
Their first meeting was at the beginning of this year, the 15th of January at Datin Ivy Lau's residence.
They enjoyed light snacks and drinks as they came together to discuss programming, special highlights and person(s) involved in different aspects of the conference.
